Thailand to China to Tokyo

Whew! Two travel days in a row to get back from Cambodia. Our airport shuttle picked us up at the hotel at 5:30 this morning. Thailand time. We arrived in our hotel in Tokyo at midnight. It’s 1:00 in the morning right now. Mack was asleep before her head hit the pillow. Fiona managed to brush her teeth before passing out. Immigration took forever this morning in Thailand. It was a traffic jam of people. We were expecting a long wait at immigration once we landed in Japan (as it was for us in Osaka), but it was so fast tonight. We needed that to be quick because we had an hour-long train ride ahead of us, and our kids were expiring. Expired actually.

We have had smooth travels really. Today was no different. We’ve all got the hang of international travel. Four countries in two days. No problem. Today was a day of watching movies, endless Minecraft, and eating airplane food.

And now. The final hoorah at Disney and then Shinjuku. These are some lucky little girls who in 8 hours will be hanging with Tokyo Mickey!  This is the best!

Some photos from the day before I pass out.

Goodbye Thailand!

Back on the JR Line!

A recreated picture from our Orlando trip!  One tired kiddo.

What time do they close?

Crackers for dinner while we wait for the train!

The final shuttle hotel train for the day is at 11:53.  This is the clock when we arrived.  So lucky after flight delay.

The Disney train!

Four beds is a dream come true for my kids.  Mack needs to sleep alone.
Tonight I brushed my teeth with water from the faucet!  It was fabulous!  I fully enjoyed my time in Thailand and Cambodia but there is something nice about safe drinking water.

Time for sleep.  Disney awaits!
