Tokyo Disney

We slept until 7:00!  What a treat.  Disney didn't open until 9:00 today so we were able to relax a little bit this morning.  I think we all needed that.  The bummer part was that we had a hard time finding breakfast this morning so we ended up in the park looking for food.  The girls had pizza for breakfast and Brian and I had some sort of cheesy tots.  It was food.  The prices here are sure different than when we were in Cambodia!  

The park gates were packed with people anxious to start their day.  We always have to start our visits in the town hall area so we can get Mack's assistance pass.  Today it took a little longer because the language barrier made it a bit difficult.  It's great though because we can sign up at the ride, and we are given a time to return.  It is so that she can wait in line somewhere else.  Much like a fast pass.  The crowds today were pretty light which was amazing.  We waiting something like 13 minutes for Haunted Mansion and only 5 minutes for Star Tours.  We didn't need her pass as much as we have in the past.  Funny because we are always trying to get her on the rides we want to go on so we can use her pass.  She rarely agrees to ride the rides that scare her.  Today she did agree to ride Big Thunder Mountain which was awesome.  The 40 minute wait became 20 for us and we bummed around shops while we waited.  She was freaked out on the ride, but she tried it.  That's good for her!

Star Tours in Japanese!

It's hard to be vegetarian at Disney.  Everything was meat and the non-meat part of each meal is very small.  Like I mentioned before, I had cheesy tater tots for breakfast.  At lunchtime, I found nothing meatless.  I had french fries and water.  At dinner I found some corn chowder and a salad which was nice because lettuce has been off limits for a while. I am gearing up for another day of potatoes tomorrow. I must say, the chocolate cake we had at the end of the day was super yummy.  Really rich, but really yummy.

Disney Tokyo was very similar to the other Disney parks we have been to.  This was the girls' 4th time to Disneyland, and the 3rd park they have been to.  Many of the rides were the same.  There are a few characters that seem regional.  We met Duffy the Bear, Gelatino the Cat, and a lavender bunny whom I am unfamiliar with. Universal had a character named, Moppy which we don't have at home.  Moppy stole Mack's heart.  Luckily she didn't want a bunch of overpriced Moppy stuff from there nor anything from here!

Tomorrow we will adventure at Disney Sea.  I don't know much about the park but do look forward to exploring.  Hopefully the crowds continue to be light!
