Chiang Mai Oh My
We arrived in Chiang Mai mid to late afternoon. It was a smooth travel day which is nice. I noticed on our descent that it looked more like Kauai and less like a city full of skyscrapers. Fiona and I were happy to see that. We both agree that we like this area more. Don't get me wrong, the roads are still a bit crazy. Tuk tuks, taxis, mopeds with babies holding the handlebars, and I even saw a motorcycle with a kitchen as a sidecar. It had all the pots and pans on the stove top!
We are in another airbnb and this one is super nice! We're in a condo at the end of an alley that we would never have found without our taxi driver. It's modern and clean and I can do laundry. That's the best part! We packed a week's worth of clothes and in this heat, they need to be washed!
We didn't really do much tonight because the girls were pretty spent by evening. We thought about doing the night bizarre but thought maybe just a local stroll for a little bite to eat sounded better.
The girls are in for a big adventure tomorrow. Mack is struggling to keep it together so I am hoping that tomorrow's fun will help her find her smile again and maybe she can give Fiona a break! Until tomorrow!!
