I wasn't able to blog yesterday because the WiFi was so bad at the hotel we were at. I tried and tried and it just wouldn't load anything. I have access on my phone but that's just a pain. So, here we are.
We have had a big couple of days. Yesterday we left our tree house and headed to a hotel near the airport. An airport hotel isn't always the best. Unless it has a water park in it! Woo Hoo! Yes, Brian did these girls right. We stayed at the Grand West Sands Resort which houses Splash Jungle Water Park.
Let me back up a little bit. Let's start with the taxi. Our 9:00 taxi arrived at almost 9:30. A young man pulled up and popped out of his Toyota greeting us very happily and snapping a photo of us. Weird, I know. The next thing I noticed was that he was sending this photo to someone and chattering away to us in very broken English. His name, Boy. You probably don't need the play by play of this drive, but I can tell you that I was moderately concerned for our safety. We met his 3 month pregnant lady friend via FaceTime (yes, while he drove), and learned that she is vomiting a lot. He kept her on the line the entire drive along with his music proudly blaring. He weaved us in and out of traffic for almost an hour. We made it. Boy.
Here are some photos of our fun-filled day. Not too many at the water park because I chose to participate instead of document everything today!
We closed the park! Slid until the last minute. Then headed out for a dinner mission in the hotel restaurant.
It was a pretty darn good day.
